London based singersongwriter Sofia B, grew up in an artistic and international home. Her mother, a Venezuelan jeweller and her father, a closeted blues guitarist. Her debut EP "Once Upon A Time" in March 2014, featuring crowd favourite “Mum, I Like A Girl,” which was awarded second place during her time at Berklee College of Music in Boston in the “Songs for Social Change Competition.”
Sofia has received continued support on a variety of LGBT platforms such as Curve Magazine, She Wired and most recently was featured in DIVA Magazine, after being selected as a finalist for Pride’s Got Talent, where she performed at the main stage on Trafalgar Square, where Alesha Dixon headlined, as well as the Women’s Stage on Dean Street.

'In The City' her most recent EP, was written during her time living and performing in NYC, featuring the debut single and music video for her song 'Ice Cold Love,' which premiered on Gigslutz and was featured on Songwriting Magazine, Curve Magazine, Clash Magazine, among others. As an out and proud androgynous singer and LGBT activist, Sofia decided to take the recording process to Lebanon in order to record with her father and connect with the Lebanese LGBTQ community, making for a once in a lifetime experience. Her latest music video, “Let It Go,” premiered on After Ellen, where the singer is dressed in traditional dhabke attire.
